A good cosmetic jar must be able to withstand the pressure of the gas used in the aerosol industry and be properly adjusted according to the type of product to be included (matching with the valve).
In the market, we can find all kinds of cosmetic jars, including shape and capacity. The shape, color, and design of the package will vary according to the corporate image and advertising information that each customer wants to convey.
Although usually made of tinplate or aluminum, cosmetic jars can be made of different materials and coatings, depending on the characteristics of the final product and the gas to be used. In addition, some aerosols may have very specific containers, including sealing modules or special devices.

Cosmetic jars are disposable metal / plastic containers for aerosol products. When in use, the aerosol product is sprayed out through the valve and in the controlled form under the action of preloading.

a. Cosmetic jars are divided into one piece jars, two-piece jars, and three-piece jars according to their structure;
b. Cosmetic jars are divided into tinplate jars, aluminum jars, plastic jars, and glass jars according to their materials;
c. Cosmetic jars are divided into straight body jars and necking jars according to the shape of tinplate jars, and aluminum jars are divided into round shoulder type, inclined shoulder type, step shoulder type, etc.

Note: the height of the iron tank refers to the height of the tank, excluding the top cover. The height of the aluminum tank refers to the total height, from the tank mouth to the tank bottom.
Therefore, there are the following rules for valve selection:
Iron jars: Φ 45, 52, tank height plus 8mm is the valve height, Φ 65. The tank height plus 13mm is the valve height;
Aluminum tank: the tank height is generally the height of the valve.
a. V0: total capacity of the cosmetic tank, which refers to the capacity of the cosmetic tank without a valve until it is full, and the mass of full water at 20 ℃ * (1 + 0.28%). 0.28% is a consideration based on water temperature and cosmetic jars.
b. VR: packaging capacity of cosmetic jars, which refers to the capacity of sealed cosmetic jars after installing valves and liquid guide pipes. VR is the effective capacity in the filling of cosmetic jars.
c. Safe capacity: refers to the safe filling capacity of cosmetic jars. In foreign countries, the proportion is about 50-75%, while in China, it is about 70-90%. This figure is called the safety factor of aerosol products.
